The Malta Esports Association, and the Malta National Esports Team will be travelling to Bali, Indonesia to compete in the 14th World Esports Championships.
Malta will take part in the World Esports Championships for the second time. Malta sent only one Tekken 7 player to Israel in 2021 to represent the country but is now fielding six players to compete in the games Tekken 7 and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.
The International Esports Federation will host the 14th World Esports Championship from December 1 through December 12. The competition will feature over 600 international athletes from over 106 nations, making it the largest representative international esports event with a prize fund of $500,000.
