With the FIFA eNations Series 2023 kicking off last December, representatives from all over the world are competing on behalf of their nation. Accordingly, we have our very own Malta FIFAe National Team and guess what – we’ve placed third in the Division 1 Play-Ins! Read on to learn more!
Malta FIFAe National Team – Placed Third
For those unaware, competitive FIFA has multiple layers of competition. Moreover, the Nations Series focuses on international competition, where national teams consists of 3 players playing in 2v2 games on the latest FIFA title.
And here, I present to you the current national team for FIFAe Nations 2023:
- Luke Bartolo
- Turbuleense
- brandsha
Starting off the year are regional Play-Ins, with nations trying to climb deeper into the competition. In Europe, 40 national teams were divided into 4 Conferences across 2 Divisions based on last year’s results.
Currently, based on performance against other teams, here’s where Malta finds itself in its Conference after the second week of competition, in the Division 1 Group:
- #1 – Netherlands (22 points)
- #2 – England (16 points)
- #3 – Malta (15 points)
- #4 – Republic of Ireland (4 points)
- #5 – Cyprus (1 point)
Thanks to such a strong performance, Malta keeps its Division 1 status heading into the final Play-Ins Gameweek (3).
In addition, Malta also sits in third place of the overall standings, based on Consistency Ranking:
- #1 – England (840 points)
- #2 – Netherlands (780 points)
- #3 – Malta (560 points)
- #4 – Czech Republic (510 points)
- #5 – Republic of Ireland (430 points)
- #6 – Cyprus (350 points)
- #7 – Estonia (300 points)
- #8 – Hungary (280 points)
- #9 – Slovenia (280 points)
- #10 – Serbia (260 points)
