Michael B. Jordan To Star In Rainbow Six Movie

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Michael B. Jordan will play the lead role in a future film based on the Tom Clancy book Rainbow Six. Chad Stahelski, who previously directed John Wick, will take the reins as director.

Jordan will play John Clark, the same role he had in the Clancy-inspired film Without Remorse from 2021. John Clark was portrayed by Willem Dafoe in the 1994 film Clear and Present Danger, and Liev Schreiber in the 2002 film The Sum of All Fears.

There are no known narrative details for the Rainbow Six film. The novel also gave rise to the immensely successful Rainbow Six video game series, which is still going strong thanks to Rainbow Six Siege.

Stahelski will return to helm Chapter 4 of John Wick in 2023 after helming the first three films. He is also set to helm the Ghosts of Tsushima movie, which is based on the PlayStation game, in addition to the Rainbow Six movie.

Jordan is well-known for his leading role in the boxing movie series Creed and for playing Killmonger in the 2018 Marvel Cinematic Universe blockbuster Black Panther.
