Following a successful run in Week 1 to maintain their position in Division 1 of the FIFAe Nations Cup, the Malta eNational Team will today kick off their Week 2 campaign in Europe’s Conference 2.
Malta will face once again the Netherlands and England, who have also kept their position in the highest division, together with the newly promoted Cyprus and Republic of Ireland. Teams will face each other twice between Thursday 26th January and Friday 27th January, with only the Top 3 teams keeping their place in the division after the end of both rounds.
The Playoffs will then determine the 24 nations who will feature at the FIFAe Nations Cup 2023 next summer.
Matches in the FIFAe Nations Series are played in a 2v2 format, with the Maltese team featuring the current Malta BOV ePremier League Champion, Luke Bartolo, along with Gianluca ‘Turbuleense’ Sant and Shaun ‘Brandsha’ Galea.
