In order to celebrate the release of the brand-new game mode, Battle for Olympus, Blizzard is hosting the first official Overwatch 2 Double XP weekend of 2023. This should make completing the Season 2 Battle Pass much easier for fans of the well-liked online shooting game.
Since the game’s debut in October 2022, there have been four Double XP Weekend occasions. When Overwatch 2’s launch day troubles first occurred, such as the server disconnects due to a large number of players attempting to log in, along with a number of DDoS assaults, Blizzard organized the event as a means of an apology. Thankfully, these issues have since been ironed out.
The Double XP Weekend will run from January 6 from 11:00 AM PDT to January 9 at 11:00 AM PDT. As a result, there won’t be much time left for Overwatch 2 gamers to enjoy everything the tournament has to offer. The XP earned via challenges or endorsements, on the other hand, will stay same; only the XP earned from participating in matches will be doubled.
