Noise-cancelling wireless earbuds for Xbox and PlayStation are being released by Razer

Later this year, Razer will release the Razer Hammerhead Hyperspeed, a new model of their Hammerhead earphones made especially for the PlayStation and Xbox consoles. The company is no stranger to offering devices made to operate with the most recent consoles; in early October, it unveiled a limited-edition Razer wireless controller and rapid charging stand for Xbox.

These new headphones are the latest effort by the well-known gaming firm Razer to ensure that gamers can utilize their goods regardless of the hardware they game on. Over the years, Razer has released items ranging from mouse and earbuds to its high-end Razer Blade 15 laptops. The Razer Hammerhead True Wireless earbuds, Razer’s last pair of gaming-specific earbuds, won plaudits for their svelte appearance and excellent sound quality upon introduction. Although some gamers have expressed displeasure with the RGB lighting that Razer incorporates into several of its devices, Razer gear is usually praised by consumers and reviewers.

Razer’s Hammerhead Hyperspeed earbuds are an updated version of the Hammerhead True Wireless line and created to pair seamlessly with the most recent Xbox and PlayStation consoles. They were revealed alongside the launch of two new product web pages for each console’s version of the new line. Both Razer Hammerhead Hyperspeed models are authorized console-specific peripherals and connect to the console through Bluetooth 5.2 and 2.4GHz wireless, respectively. They also work with smartphones, tablets, and other portable devices. The earbuds’ combined 30-hour battery life ensures that users won’t lose the ability to hear the action in the middle of a late-night gaming session.

The Hammerhead Hyperspeed earbuds will have Razer’s renowned Chroma RGB lighting in addition to the same high-quality audio as the Hammerhead True Wireless earphones. Additionally, each variation of the earphones will include a color scheme made to go with the corresponding console. The Xbox version of the earphones may be of particular interest to gamers who own both platforms because it will be able to connect to both PS4 and PS5 devices in addition to Xbox systems. The Razer Edge 5G, Razer’s planned Steam Deck rival, is not mentioned on the product page, but it can be presumed that the new earphones will be able to connect to it as well.
